A delightful, relaxed event. Perfectly timed towards the beginning of the classic year from May Bank Holiday.
The numbers are kept low on purpose to allow everyone the maximum time to get to know each other. Several well known names were in attendance and all of the cars were brilliant examples of their kind.
The format centres around, a bit of driving, wonderful lunch, a bit of driving, and fantastic dinner. Opportunities to see houses, grounds, etc., that would not normally be open to the public, as well as being able to sample all that is good from Cornwall.
This is a tour de force showcasing Cornish, landscape, crafts, industry, food and drink. We visited Rick Stein’s Restaurant and his Cookery School for a full on lesson in preparing, cooking and presenting various local fish. The delightful Manor at Boconnoc for simple sped trials and lunch. And the only tea plantation in the UK at Tregothnan.
